Garry Parkes for President!

Well, okay, maybe not President, but ya gotta admit the guy has stepped forth as a real leader among the students of Alex Jeffreys’ coaching program. And I’d like to take this opportunity to publicly thank you, Garry, for giving so much of your time to help all of us. You know it’ll come back to you tenfold!

I won’t say too much about it here, because frankly, he says it better on his own blog, (http://garryparkes.com). But if you’re reading this and you haven’t been by his blog to check out his plans for a newsletter we can ALL take part in, get on over there and see what he has to say about it.

Oh, and did I mention it was FREE?

And that’s on top of his offer to help anyone who needed assistance getting their sites up and running. I don’t know when the man must sleep.

Speaking of assistance, if you happen to remember whose blog had so kindly put up instructions on Google Analytics, I’d appreciate it if you could let me know. I’ve put GA on dozens of sites, but have never been very knowledgeable about PHP…I just don’t get it.

I put the GA code in admin-footer.php just above the </body> like someone suggested when I googled it…but it’s still telling me tracking hasn’t been installed, so obviously Google isn’t being able to find it.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Honey

If you go to cpanel - file manager - public html - wp content - themes - your blog folder - header php

You’ll see the code and towards top should be a tag. Insert GA code above that

You want to insert the code onto every page you want to track and you also need to make sure that your personalised tracking code is correct

Once you’ve correctly installed your tracking code, you should allow up to 24 hours for data to appear in your account.

Hi Honey,

I recommend using the Google Analytics plugin for wordpress.

It’s what I use. You set it up just like a regular plugin and then you can configure everything through your blog’s admin panel.

Garry has really stepped up to the plate. I am proud to announce that I am going to be writing a column in his newsletter. The coaching with Alex is really turning into something big. I hope everyone realizes the power of what is happening here.

That is why I am trying to do everything I can to help our fellow students get up to speed. Please direct any one that needs help in my direction. I have 4 years experience and am really good at SEO and the tech side of things.

I am having a video creation marathon this weekend to make tutorials for our fellow students and am taking requests. Go by my Hub page and vote on which topic you would like me to cover. If you don’t see the topic you want, go to my blog and make a suggestion and I will add it to the poll.

Hey y’all!

A big thanks to everyone…you can’t know how much your comments mean to me. I have another blog that is almost 3 years old, and I’ve already had more comments on this brand new one than in all the time the other one has been in existence. So I’m deeply grateful.
