Who’s More Awesome - Alex Jeffreys or His Students?

When I first met Alex Jeffreys, it was over phone on Skype. He called me because he liked a comment I had left on his blog…that should serve as just one example of how powerful blogs can be. I was stunned to find myself talking to him…for me, it was practically the same as if a Hollywood celebrity had phoned me.  Now here I am a few short weeks later, in the midst of a life changing coaching program. So yes, I think Alex Jeffreys is indeed awesome.

But I have to admit, the collective ‘awesomeness’ of his students is overwhelming and seems to be growing exponentially every day. I see so many total strangers, reaching out through cyberspace from across the globe to help each other, and I can’t describe how it warms my soul and inspires me!

Folks are lending their talents and their strengths, at no cost, to help each other as we all travel towards a common goal. I love it…I love seeing it, I love being a part of it…and I want to give back too.

Here’s what I’m thinking, and I welcome any thoughts or suggestions. There are many of us, and several students have outstanding offers on their blog…for free books, videos, tech help, etc. I’m thinking I’ll create a page listing all these offers as I find them as I make my way through visiting all the blogs.

I’ve been to 25 so far, and have seen some exceptional work done by some of our fellow classmates. I’ve only encountered one blog that was still in the Wordpress default mode, and one that required I be logged in to comment, which I tried to do and for some reason couldn’t.

Anyway, I’ll be putting up a page here on my blog called Blog Offers so anyone who wants to can come and see what all their fellow students are willing to share. Now, it’s taking some time to make the rounds to all the blogs…I post to a few every night and eventually will get to all of you. But if you’ve got something you’d like me to include in Blog Offers, just leave me a comment and I’ll be sure to include it.

  1. Hi,
Just stopping to say hello. I like your blog and I like the fact that you are the only one that spelled my name correctly :)

I craeted “how to” page on my blog where I would like to collect all useful info and tip on one place. If you have something let me know and I’ll put it on my blog and link it back to your site.

    Speak to you soon,

  3. Hi Honey,

Good to see another woman in this coaching programme! I’ve just got my blog up & running, so if you get a chance please pop over and have a look.

I think your idea if the one page with all the offers / downloads on it is an excellent idea…

    Thanks,

  4. Hi Honey

I ‘ve just dropped by your blog using the link that I have finally managed to make on my blogroll to see if it works.

It took me a while to figure it out, but I think that I am getting there.

I too really want to make use of all the incredible offers that are being made by other students, and it really is difficult to keep a track of where they all are. I just don’t want to get left behind as I know I am not as far on as some of the other students. I’m still trying to get my ppp up.

Anyway I have now managed to move my hosting over to my own website, so would you update my details on your blogroll please?

Do come over and have another look. Thanks.

  8. Hi Honey,

Thanks for your feedback re my blog.
I think your blog offers page is a great idea since so many of us are providing free information, it would be great to have a blog, such as yours, provide it all under one roof so to speak :-)
In regards to the e-book ‘write like a maniac’, I have it on PDF file but I’m trying to figure out a way to put it onto my blog for downloading purposes.
If you have any suggestions they would be much welcomed.

    regards

  9. Hi Hons,

The headline to your post is one DAMN good question!

Oh, and Gordan - I just been to Gordo-Ville and yes sir - I spelled your name correctly too - with an A and not an O. LOL!

Just thought I’d stick my head in here for a bit. It is so difficult to get around to everyone - a FULL time job in itself.

Anyway, I have a little competition going on over at Gary-Land where you folks get to tease my “PROJECT X” details out of me in a game of YES/NO.

    Wanna play?

    Regards

  10. Honey,

I’m another one of Alex’s students, and I think all of us are awesome! I really like your blog, and I would vote for Garry as President (LOL! He’s doing such an incredible job.

I like your idea about starting a page for all of the free offers.

It’s really great how everyone is pulling together to help and support each other, this is such a great experience to be sharing with so many nice people!

I’m going to put you on my blogroll and visit a few more student blogs. I was only going to visit a few tonight but it’s not working out that way - I keep seeing comments one after another of students that aren’t on my list and I can’t help but visit their blogs!

  11. Hi Honey,

How nice to bump into you again, LOL.

I don’t know whether you remember, about a year ago, I PMd you on the WF and asked if I could quote you in an eBook that I was creating? You were so kind to me and your name and link are still in my eBook to this day ;-)

I’m glad we’re both doing Alex’s course, and hope we can chat some time

  12. Hi Paula!

Indeed I remember! Thanks so much for stopping by…I’m making my way around, just up to letter J…LOL!

Look me up sometime if you’re ever on Skype!…(I’m nursehoney)

I appreciate everyone who took the time to stop by and comment! I’ve been remiss in keeping it as up to date as I’d like…but I’ll get caught up soon!

  13. Hi Honey,

I am listening you speak with Alex as I am writing this. I am pretty good with HTML. Let me know what your problem is and I will take a look.

You can email me at jtm at jtmartin.net

I like your theme too. I don’t think I need a copy of your book, but I may be wrong. I would like your honest opinion about my writing skills.

Did you see my article in Garry’s newsletter? I have published about 27 Hub pages and about the same number of Squidoo lenses. If you get a chance, stop by my blog and click on the links in the top menu bar.

Let me know what you think of my writing abilities. You can be brutally honest, I am a big boy and can take it.

  14. Hi Again,

I forgot to mention that I have added you to my blog roll.

  15. Hi again, Honey. This title post caught my eye and just wanted to leave a comment. Yes, it’s a privelege to be part of something that has the potential to be huge.

I love your idea of creating a page with all the offers people are creating.

I did a take off on Debbie’s Cool Tool page with a contest, but I think everyone is so busy trying to get caught up with their own stuff that it’s not really taking off. I really wanted to offer something that people could use . . . the prize of two 350 word articles and create an excellent resource page.

Wishing you the best holiday season,
    Theresa
